Joe Root is willing to visit Pakistan soon

Southampton: England captain Joe Root has said he has no problem going to Pakistan, one of the craziest cricketing nations in the world.

Speaking to reporters, Root said he had heard a positive response from players who had recently visited Pakistan. “I love visiting Pakistan because I have heard so many good reviews from fellow cricketers who have visited the country recently,” he said.

“We have recently seen the country welcoming Test cricket after a long hiatus and it has been really passionate for them. Some players have to say that they really appreciate playing in Pakistan.

Recently, England head coach Chris Silverwood suggested a very soon tour of Pakistan.

“To be honest I think we are going there [in terms of plans to go to Pakistan for the tour]. Personally, I have no problem with that. I have never been to Pakistan, so good you go and check. I know our batsmen are ready to bat on their wickets. For me, It’s great to be back in conversation. We want to go back there, ”he said.

It should be noted that Pakistan are currently in England for the three-match Test series, with only one Test remaining. The Green Shirt will also play three T20Is on the home team.
